LODHI FORT
The over 500-year-old Lodhi Fort was made by Muslim ruler Sikander Lodhi within the last decade of the fifteenth century on a strategic location on the banks of the Sutlej within the town of Ludhiana that itself got its name from the Lodhi dynasty and was earlier called Lodhiana. The fort stands on an outsized piece of land currently encroached from all sides. What was once the entryway to Sikander Lodhi’s empire and therefore the pride of Maharaja Ranjit Singh, currently lies forgotten and in ruins. Amazingly, an outsized amount of the native population isn’t even attentive to the whereabouts of this fort. Even though the fort seems like a reasonably normal ancient structure while not invoking a lot of interest of individuals, it has a grand past.
RURAL OLYMPIC GAMES AT KILA RAIPUR, LUDHIANA

PHILLAUR FORT, LUDHIANA
The Phillaur Fort was designed by Dewan Mokham Chand who is the general of Maharaja Ranjit Singh. The fort is considered to be an architectural wonder and it attracts great number of tourists from various and distant cities.
MAHARAJA RANJIT SINGH WAR MUSEUM, LUDHIANA
This museum was built in 1999 is well known for showcasing an extensive memoir of Indian past history related to Kargil War and Ancient History in over 12 galleries or more. This museum is constructed over an area of nearly 4 acres by the Punjab government to pay the tribute to the soldiers who struggled for their lives during tremendous wars and have fought the wars so far. The various galleries showcase Indian history during the Independence period, War Heroes, Air force, gallery and Navy gallery and many more. The light and the sound show which narrates the story of the struggle during independence serves as the major attraction in this museum.
BHIR, LUDHIANA
It is none other than a mosque that is a popular pilgrimage attraction for a great range tourists and devotees in Ludhiana. This mosque dates back to 19th century and thus has a great pilgrimage importance to relish.
ALAMGIR, LUDHIANA
The village of Alamgir is located nearly at a distance of 10 km from city center of Ludhiana. The main tourist attraction of this village is ShriManji Sahib Gurudwara, also called as Alamgir Gurudwara. This place holds remakable significance in the Sikh history. The backstory of this Gurudwara is quite attention-grabbing. The Guru Gobind Singh was chased by the Mughal Army, and this was the place where he took some rest for a while, blessed the place with his presence. The langar hall of Shri Manji Gurudwara is among the most important langar halls of all the Sikh gurudwara with the capability to serve many individuals at no cost in one go.
Like among various pilgrimage sights of the Sikh. Gurudwara Manji is a great tourist destination place mainly for its history.
Gurudwara Manji Sahib, Ludhiana
It is one of the religious places considered in the Sikh History. It has a great significance among the pilgrimage sites for devotees.
This gurudwara is located in the Alamgir village. Hence, it is also known as the Alamgir sahib. The significant sight of this place is the palanquin that guru Gobind Singh Ji carried to his place and it is preserved till present in the Bhora Sahib. Guru Gobind Singh ji reached the Alamgir village after the Mughals had killed his mother and siblings. While he arrived in the village, he shot an arrow into the ground from which a spring a appeared and with which a lady suffering from leprosy healed by bathing in the same spring. Ever since that incident, the place is considered to be holy and is known as an “Arrow lake”.
GURUDWARA NANAKSAR JAGRAON
This gurudwara is famous in the memory of Guru Gobind Singh, Gurudwara Nanaksar Jagraon is placed on the banks of Nanaksar Sarovar which is located at approximately distance of 38 km from Ludhiana. During the year 1975, Sikh Saint constructed this gurudwara along with his followers. Every year an annual festival is held for five days in the month of August and this festival s attended by approximately a lakh of devotees.
This gurudwara is surrounded by three holy gurudwaras namely- Gurudwara Sahib Patshahi Pehli, Gurudwara Sahib Patshahi Chhevin and gurudwara patshahi dasvin. This gurudwara is beautifully constructed with six storey structure. The prakash divas of Guru Gobind Singh ji, Guru Nanak Dev ji, Guru Hargobind ji and Shahidi Diwas of guru Arjan Dev ji is celebrated with great enthusiasm. Jor Mela is also celebrated with great pomp and show in the month of January.

GURUDWARA CHARANKANWAL SAHIB MACHHIWARA, LUDHIANA
Machiwara is a town in Ludhiana district which is 35 km distance away. Here, Gurudwara Charan Kanwal is located. Ludhiana-Chandigarh Highway is connected to this Gurudwara. Due to its serene atmosphere and beautiful architecture it is one of the tourist attractions in Ludhiana. This gurudwara holds a history which dates back to Aurangzeb’s army attack and Guru Gobind singh ji escaped into the jungle of Machiwara to resist the attack. He stayed there for a while, rested and recited the holy hymn “Mitar Pyare Nu”. The same old tree under which he slept was a Banyan Tree and which is still preserved outside the Gurudwara. His companions namely- Daya Singh, Man Singh, and Dharam Singh found him there. His marks of the feet while he stepped on the site of the Gurudwara are compared to lotus flower.
